- Free initial meeting/interview
- 2 prenatal visits during which we discuss and develop your birth plan
- Being on call 24/day leading up to your birth
- Joining you for labor once contractions have started and you are in need of support. This can either be at your home or at the hospital or birthing center.
- Staying with you throughout labor through one or two hours after delivery
- One postpartum visit when it is most convenient for you (usually offering lactation advice)

My Role during Pregnancy:
Emotional, physical and mental preparation through coaching relaxation, visualization, specific exercises and movements, guidance on nutrition, and discussions on what to expect during labor in general.
My Role during Labor:
Early Labor (from 0 to 4 – 6cm):
Support, coaching and guidance ideally at home with comfort measures such as various positions, breathing techniques, visualization, bathtub or shower.
Active Labor (from 4- 6cm to 10cm):
If hospital birth is planned transition to desired location, continuous support of a safe and protected space for the laboring couple, allowing an environment that fosters open communication and empowers the parents to be involved in the decision making during all stages of labor and delivery.
Pushing Phase:
Advocate and encourage, help choosing optimal time for active pushing, help with different positions to maximize effective pushing.
Post Partum:
Enhance and support immediate mother baby bonding through exclusive skin to skin contact, early breast feeding support, involving dad through touch and voice communication with baby.
Home visit with birth review and more lactation support.
